Company Website with a Product Catalog: What to Include and How to Launch Fast
Buyers search before they call. If your company and products cannot be found online, the quote goes to a competitor who can.

Why a PDF Catalog Is Not Enough
Many engineering and trading companies still send a PDF catalog on WhatsApp. It works for customers who already know you. It does not work for the buyer who types "industrial valves Cairo" into Google, because a PDF has no page for each product, is hard to search and is out of date the day after you send it.
- It is not found. Search engines index web pages far better than attachments.
- It is not searchable. A buyer scrolls 80 pages to find one item.
- It goes stale. Every price or spec change means a new file and a new round of sending.
- It has no next step. There is no inquiry button on the item the buyer is looking at.
The Pages You Need
| Page | What it does |
|---|---|
| Home | Says who you are and what you supply, with featured categories and a clear contact strip |
| Products | A searchable grid with category filters |
| Product detail | Photos, specifications and a way to ask about this exact item |
| About | Company story, address and map, which builds trust with new buyers |
| Contact | Phone numbers, email, WhatsApp and an inquiry form |
What Each Product Page Should Show
- A clear name and a short description in plain language.
- Two to eight good photos, not one.
- A specification table: voltage, size, material, standards. B2B buyers compare specs first.
- A price decision. Show a price, show "from" a price, hide it, or ask buyers to inquire. Many B2B companies prefer "on request".
- A WhatsApp button and an inquiry form on the same page, so the buyer never has to look for how to reach you.
Arabic and English
If you sell in Egypt and the region, buyers search in both languages. A site that works properly in right-to-left Arabic and in English, with each product described in both, reaches both groups. Search engines also need to be told which version is which, using language alternates, so the right page appears for the right searcher.
How to Launch in a Week
- Day 1: collect your logo, phone numbers, address and a short company text in Arabic and English.
- Day 2: clean your product list in Excel: one row per product, with name, category and key specs.
- Day 3: photograph or collect product images, starting with your top 20 items.
- Day 4: load the products, import the sheet rather than typing each one.
- Day 5: preview on your phone, fix, then publish and share the link and a QR code.
Katalogna does this for you. It creates a bilingual company website with a searchable catalog, Excel import, WhatsApp and email inquiries and built-in SEO, and you manage it from your phone. You can try it with sample products first.

- How many products do I need before launching?
- Start with your 20 best-selling or most requested items. You can add the rest later, or import them in bulk.
- Do I need an online store with payments?
- Not necessarily. Many B2B sales start with an inquiry and a quote. A showcase catalog with WhatsApp and a contact form is enough to begin.
- Can I use my own domain?
- Yes. Katalogna sites start on a Katalogna subdomain and can use your own domain on supported plans.
